How the library is organised

The library gathers everything Mindly has written for patients and families, grouped by topic instead of by format. Under each topic you will find the condition pages that explain signs, assessment and treatment, plain-language guides, longer articles, and the pages that show which of our clinicians speak your language and treat that concern. Start with the topic closest to what you are facing, or use the search box in the menu. Each page says when to seek help and where to turn in a crisis.

Our pages are written for people in India and use sources such as the World Health Organization, NICE guidance, the National Mental Health Survey and the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines. They are information, not a diagnosis or a substitute for a consultation. A clinician can tell you what applies to you.

Anxiety and panic

Worry, panic and fear that get in the way of daily life, and how they are assessed and treated.

Mood and depression

Low mood, bipolar disorder and the treatments that help, including how long antidepressants take to work.

OCD and related conditions

Obsessions, compulsions and the difference between being careful and having OCD.

ADHD and neurodevelopment

Attention, activity and learning differences in children and adults, including women whose ADHD is missed.

Trauma and stress

How trauma affects the mind and body, and what trauma-focused care involves.

Psychosis and personality

Psychosis, schizophrenia and personality disorders, and how recovery is supported.

Sleep, addiction and habits

Families and relationships

Relationship strain, grief and how to talk to and support someone in treatment.

Rights, access and online care

Common questions

Who writes the pages in the library?

Pages are written by Mindly Health for patients and families, from published sources such as WHO, NICE and national surveys. Clinical review is being added page by page; each page says when it was last updated.

Can I rely on the library instead of seeing a doctor?

No. The library gives general information. It cannot diagnose you or replace a consultation. If you are worried, book a free pre-consultation call.

Where can I find help in an emergency?

Call 112 or go to the nearest hospital. For free support at any hour, call Tele-MANAS on 14416.
