How Mindly care works
Every plan begins with a free pre-consultation call, then a mental health consultation online with the clinician allotted to you. Read what the first consultation involves.
- 1
Screening
Answer a few questions about how you have been feeling. A psychiatrist is involved from this very first step.
- 2
Free pre-consultation call
Our team takes your history and first details on a free call. We then match you with the right clinician and send them your report, so you never have to repeat yourself.
- 3
Assessment
Your clinician already has your report, so this time goes on how you feel now and how it affects your day. They also check for other causes, such as a physical illness.
- 4
Diagnosis
Accuracy comes first. Our Chief Medical Officer gives a second opinion on every case, then your psychiatrist explains the diagnosis in plain words and in your language.
- 5
Treatment
A personal plan, shaped around your culture and family, planned with you and reviewed as you go.
- 6
Follow-up
We track how you feel and how you are recovering, and adjust your plan as you improve.
- 7
Relapse prevention
A plan for the hard days, so you know what to do and who to call.
How Mindly care stands out
Five things we do differently, from your first conversation to the long run.
Diagnosis comes first
We put our attention on the most accurate diagnosis. The right treatment plan can only be built on a clear one.
A diagnosis is a careful understanding of what is going on, not a label. Your psychiatrist listens to your history, looks at how symptoms affect your sleep, work, studies and relationships, and checks for other causes, such as a physical illness or a medicine you already take. You then hear the diagnosis in plain words, with time for questions, before treatment begins.
When to see a psychiatristA second opinion, built in
Every patient's case is reviewed by our Chief Medical Officer, a psychiatrist with an MD from NIMHANS. You get a second opinion without having to go looking for one.
The Chief Medical Officer, a psychiatrist with an MD from NIMHANS, reviews your case and the plan your clinician proposes. It is part of every Mindly plan, so you do not need to ask for it or arrange it yourself.
Meet our cliniciansShaped around you
Your language, family and culture shape your plan. Care in 11 Indian languages, never one-size-fits-all.
Describing how you feel is easier in the language you think in, so we work with you in the language you are most comfortable in. Your plan also takes in your family, your work or studies and your culture, and who you want involved in your care.
Talking to family about mental healthTracked as you recover
We follow how you feel and how you are improving. Your clinical team adjusts your treatment as you go, so recovery is real and lasting.
Recovery is rarely a straight line. We check in on how you feel, sleep and cope from day to day, and your clinical team uses that to adjust your treatment over time, including medicines and therapy. The line in the picture is illustrative, not real patient data.
Does online therapy work?Prevention first
Our focus on preventive psychiatry means noticing problems early, before they grow, and planning for the hard days.
Mental health conditions are easier to treat when they are noticed early. Alongside treatment, your plan covers the warning signs to watch for, what to do on a hard day, and who to call, so a setback is handled early instead of becoming a crisis.
