Mental health support for students, online
If exam pressure, low mood, worry or poor sleep is getting in the way of studying and daily life, you can talk to a Mindly psychiatrist or therapist by video from home, in 11 Indian languages. Call or WhatsApp +91 90352 54779.

If you are thinking about ending your life or hurting yourself, call Tele-MANAS on 14416 (free, any hour) or 112 now, or tell an adult you trust. Mindly Health is not an emergency service.
Is this stress or something more?
Stress before an exam is normal. Talk to someone if, for two weeks or more, you notice:
- constant worry about marks, ranks or results
- low mood, or losing interest in things you enjoyed
- sleep that has gone wrong (too little, too much, or awake at night worrying)
- pulling away from friends and family
- trouble concentrating even when you try
- feeling worthless after a bad test result
Our guide exam stress or something more? explains the difference, and signs of anxiety and depression lists what to look for.

For parents
You do not need to be sure something is wrong to ask. Signs parents notice first are changes in sleep, appetite, temper or marks, and a child who has stopped talking about the future. Start by asking calmly, without comparing with others, and book a consultation if the change lasts two weeks or more. See talking to family about mental health and how families can support treatment. Fees are explained on how pricing works.

Common questions
Can parents attend?
Yes, if the student is comfortable. Many families begin with a joint first session.
Is exam anxiety treatable?
Yes. Exam anxiety responds well to treatment, and CBT helps many students. A psychiatrist can assess whether it is exam stress or something more.
Do I need to come in person?
No. All Mindly consultations are online, by video.
Which languages can I use?
English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tulu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali and Odia.
How do I help a friend who says they feel hopeless?
Take it seriously, stay with them, and help them call Tele-MANAS on 14416 or 112. Encourage them to see a doctor.
