Common questions
What is the difference between counselling and therapy?
The two overlap. Counselling usually focuses on a current difficulty, such as stress, a life change or a relationship problem. Therapy often goes deeper or works on a diagnosed condition over a longer time. Our team will help you decide at your pre-consultation call.
Is online counselling confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between you and your care team and is covered by our Privacy Policy, except in rare situations where the law requires disclosure or someone's safety is at serious risk.
Do you offer couple and family counselling?
Yes. We offer sessions for partners or relatives together, online.
Can I see a psychiatrist online from anywhere in India?
Yes. Consultations are by video, so you can see a Mindly psychiatrist from any city or town with a phone or computer and a stable internet connection. Book by call or WhatsApp on +91 90352 54779.
Which languages can I get care in?
You can get care in English, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tulu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali and Odia. Tell us your language when you book and we will try to match you with a clinician who speaks it.
