Background

Ms. Janvi Khokhar is an RCI-registered clinical psychologist and gold medalist in M.Phil. Clinical Psychology, who has worked across hospital, rehabilitation and community mental health settings. She works with children, adolescents and adults across the full spectrum of mental health, from everyday stress and adjustment concerns to severe and enduring psychiatric conditions, and works collaboratively alongside psychiatric care where needed.

Her work is grounded in thorough assessment. She uses structured clinical interviewing, personality and projective testing, and cognitive and neuropsychological screening to arrive at a clear understanding of each client, not just a diagnostic label. Therapy is then tailored to the individual. Trained across CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, mindfulness- and acceptance-based approaches, and psychodynamic and humanistic work, she follows an eclectic approach, drawing on the techniques best suited to each client rather than a single model, and paces therapy to their readiness and goals.

She is a PhD scholar and Visiting Faculty in Clinical Psychology at G.D. Goenka University, a published researcher with presentations at NAOP and APSPA, and a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (MBPsS). Her expert commentary has featured in The Indian Express and Happiest Health. She offers a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients feel understood and supported towards lasting change.

I believe healing begins when you feel truly understood, so I shape therapy around you, not around a single method.
